Mango kheer

Ing :-

Mango Pulp - 2 n 1/2 cups ( 3 mangoes should give you the required amount . Do run the pulp in the blender and strain )

Vermicelli - 1 n 1/2 cup ( gently crush Vermicelli strands while in the packet to medium sized bits  before measuring  1 n 1/2 cup )

Full Cream Milk - 2 cups

Condensed Milk- 1 tin ( approx 400 gms)

Saffron /kesar - 8 strands... ( some like the taste while some dont so using it is optional :) )

Cardamom powder - 1 n 1/2 tsp

Pistas- 1/2 cup

Sugar - as per required

Method :-

Heat milk on medium flame in a heavy bottomed vessel and once warm add the condensed milk and mix well. Throw in the Vermicelli , Cardamom powder and Saffron and stir well...cooking this till the milk starts to thicken . Once it reaches a thick yet pourable consistency,take off gas and stir in the Mango pulp and mix well tasting for sweetness. If you must add  sugar ,do it now and return to gas on medium for 5 to 7 mins.
Stir continously and lastly add the Pistas n a dollop of luv..:)

Pour Kheer into serving dish or individaul serving bowls and chill in fridge or leave to eat at room temp..ENJOY!!
