Ing :-
Chicken Breasts - 4
Chopped Tomato - 1/2 cup
Chopped Green Capsicum - 1/2 cup
Chopped Onion- (3 medium sized )
Ginger Paste- 1 tbsp
Garlic Paste-2 tbsps
Slit Green Chillies- 6
Pepper powder- 2 tsps
Coriander Powder- 2tsps
Cumin Powder- 1 tbsp
Turmeric Powder - 2 tsps
Nutmeg Powder- 1/2 tsp
Chaat Masala- 1/2 tsp
Cloves- 6*
Cinnamon- 1/2 inch*
Cardamom-5*
Fenugreek seeds- 1 tsp*
Bay leaves-2*
Curd- 2 tbsps
Chopped Coriander leaves - 3 tbsps
Salt as per required
Ghee- 2 tbsps
Method:-
Cut Chicken breasts in equal sized strips and keep aside.
Grind all the ing marked with an * to a fine powder and set aside.
Grind the chopped onion to a fine paste ( if you must use water, please use 2 tbsps first . The ground onion should be thick ). Then grind the tomato and capsicum to a fine consistency too.Take a non stick pan and heat Ghee. Once hot add the onion on medium and fry till raw smell goes and it starts turning a light brown. Add the slit green chillies ,Ginger paste n Garlic paste and mix well . Add the tomato and capsicum mixture and stir. Add all powdered masalas to a little water to make a smooth paste n pour same into pan. Fry well and the add the curd.... stir and season with Salt.... Once well mixed increase the flame add the chicken n quickly stir fry pieces. Remember that breasts of the chicken cook really fast ....so the shorter the time the tender the pieces.... a 10 -12 minute cooking of the chicken should be fine but do check a single piece to see if cooked if you must.Throw in the chopped coriander and the ground spices over the cooked chicken and stir in well...Garnish with love n serve with hot rotis....and chopped onion salad
