SPICY MUSHROOM RICE






Ing :-

Basmati Rice - 1 and 1/2 cup
Garlic- 7 flakes ( chopped fine )
Ginger- 1inch ( chopped fine )
Red chillies - 5 ( i used the red thai chillies. If you dont find them use 1 tbsp of dry chillie flakes) 
Onion - 1 ( Big sized ,cut fine)
Green Pepper - 1 ( cut fine )
Fresh Mushrooms- 200 gms ( cut into slices )

Hot Water -3 cups
Veg stock cubes - 2

Whole Cummin- 1 n 1/2 tsp
Cardamom powder- 1 n 1/2 tsp
Garam Masala powder- 1 tsp
Chilli Powder- 1 tsp ( optional if you dont want it too spicy)
Coriander Powder- 1 n 1/2 tsp 

Oil - 4 tbsps

Salt as per required.

Method :-

Heat Oil and add Cummin seeds...Once they splutter add the onions and the Garlic n Ginger. Fry till mixture is light brown in colour. Add the Green Pepper n Red Chillies n fry .Throw in Mushrooms and add the stock cubes plus all the powdered Masala's . Mix well and then add the Rice and Fry for a good 10 mins on slow fire. Pour in 3 cups of Hot Water and stir well and increase flame to medium . Season with salt and a huge CUP OF LOVE :) :) and cover n cook till water dries out . Keep the lid on till ready to serve.
