Ing :-
Green Capsicum - 4 Big Sized and Firm to touch ( chop into medium sized pieces )
Onion-1 Medium sized ( chopped fine)
Garlic- 4 flakes*
Ginger 1/2 inch*
Tomato- 1 big sized ( cut into medium pieces )*
Mustard Seeds- 1 tsp
Dry Roast the following-
Cloves- 4
Cinnamom- 1/4 inch
Pepper corns- 1 tsp
Fennel seeds- 1 tsp
Methi seeds - 1/4 tsp
Coriander Seeds- 1 tsp
Kashmiri chillies - 4
( After dry roasting keep aside to cool )
Oil for frying
Salt as required
Sugar - 1tbsp
Method:-
Take a dry grinder and put all the dry roasted ing plus the ing marked with an * and grind to a fine paste ( you may want to add 2 tbs if not a little more / less of water so as to let it grind well )
Take a non stick pan n heat oil. Throw in Mustard seeds and then Saute onions till dark brown in colour. Add the Ground Masala and fry well till all the raw smell goes. Add a little more oil if needed and then throw in the diced Capsicum n fry well... Add the sugar and season with salt. Cover the pan n cook on medium flame till almost cooked ( please dont add any water while cooking this dish) . Once you see the gravy drying ( if at all there is a liquid that may accumulate coz of the steam...) increase the flame and quickly stir further drying out the mixture. Dont miss out the Love Bug before taking out on to your serving dish. Tastes fabulous with Rotis.....:)
