Ing :-
Canned Tuna - 2 tins
Basmati Rice - 1 n 1/2 cup
Onion- 2 medium sized ones cut fine
Tomato-2 medium sized cut fine
Green chillies- 6 ( chop fine )
Coriander Leaves- 4 tbsps ( chopped fine )
Garlic paste- 1 n 1/2 tbsps
Ginger paste- 1 tbsp
Turmeric powder- 2 tsps
Pepper corns- 1 n 1/2 tsps*
Cummin seeds - 1 n 1/2 tsps*
Fennel seeds - 1 tbsp ( saunf)*
Methi seeds - 1 tsp*
Coriander seeds- 1 tbsp*
Cinnamon - 1 inch stick*
Cloves- 6*
Black elaich-1*
Bay leaves - 4* ( tej patta)*
Maggi veg stock - 4 single cubes
Water -3 cups
Oil- enough for frying
Salt - as per taste n if required at all
Method:-
Open fish tins and drain all the liquid out... flake the fish ( dont mash it or make the flakes too small either.. Also i prefer to use tuna in water n salt rather than in brine or oil if you have that choice )
Dry roast all the ing marked with an asterix and let it cool and after that grind to a fine powder in a dry grinder n set aside.
Heat enough oil in a non stick Pan n fry the onions till soft n light brown in colour.Add the tomato and fry till soft and then throw in the ginger n garlic paste,green chillies,corainder leaves and the turmeric powder n stir well... When the mixture is drying out add the ground masala n fry ( u may want to add 2 tbsps of water if needed ) Once the raw smell goes,add the fish flakes n mix well...throw in the stock cubes n mix . Add rice n fry in this mixture for 5 to 7 minutes ( stir or mix gently ) Pour in the 3 cups of water ( i like to pre heat the water ) ,add the love potion ,stir ,cover n cook on medium flame till done.....
