CHANNA DAL ( Quick n tasty too ;0 )


Ing :-

Channa Dal- 1 cup *
Tomato- 2 big sized ones *
Garlic Paste- 1 n 1/2 tbsps*
Turmeric Powder- 2 tsps*
Chilli Powder- 1 tbsp*
Mango Powder- 1 tsp*
Salt -to taste *

Water - 3 cups *

Ghee - 2 tbps
Coriander powder- 1 tbsp
Garam Masala powder-1 tsp
Cummin Powder-1 tbsp
Cardamom power-1tsp
Mustard seeds- 2 tsps

Method :-

Take a pressure cooker and put all the ing marked with an asterix in it and stir . Cook ( 6 whistles ) and leave aside. Heat Ghee and add mustard seeds. After they splutter ,add all the powdered masalas n stir till smoked but careful not to burn it.... Add the love and pour over the cooked Dal .....Stir n serve with steaming hot Rice.....
