Delish Moong Dal and Rice Pulao

Ing :-
Basmati Rice- 1 cup
Moong Dal - 1/2 cup
Garlic- 6 flakes cut fine
Green Chillies- 4 slit
Coriander leaves- a handfull
Curry leaves- 8
Cummin powder -1 tsp
Coriander Powder- 2 tsps
Turmeric Powder -1 tsp
Red chilli powder 1 tsp
Cummin seeds- 1 tbsp
Cloves- 6
Cinnamon- 1 inch piece
Green Cardamom.- 4
Onions- 2 (slit length wise)
Ghee- 3 tbsps
Maggi Veg stock cubes- 2 pcs

Water- 2 and a 1/2 cups

Method :-
Wash Rice and Dal well and set aside...
Heat Ghee in a non stick pan and once hot add the whole spices, curry leaves and all powered masalas. Once it splutters add the Garlic and green chillies..fry a bit and add onions and add the stock cubes. Fry till light brown n soft . Now throw in the washed Rice n Dal  and fry on medium flame for about 5 to 7 minutes . Add 2 and 1/2 cups of boilng water and the chopped coriander leaves and cook till done and water dries . Lastly add a dollop of LOVE  ;) ...Enjoy !!!!

P.S i totally enjoy this rice when i need some TLC....... albeit i have to make it and eat it too....lollll....
